ABOUT FOUNDER
Shri. V. B. Hombal was born on 5th August, 1937 at Hubli. He completed his B.A. at Kadasiddeshwar College, Hubli and further studies Law at JSS Law College, Hubli.
Sri Hombal and his team’s initiative in founding Karnataka State Tax Practitioners Association (KSTPA) has had a significant impact on the tax practitioner community in Karnataka. Their dedication to serving the interests of tax practitioners and the trade community is commendable.
Sri Hombal’s vision and leadership have laid a strong foundation for KSTPA’s success and continued growth. By providing resources, training programs, and support, KSTPA has played a vital role in enhancing the professional development and expertise of its members. The association’s efforts have enabled tax practitioners to collaborate, share knowledge, and stay updated with the latest developments in their field.
Now The KSTPA has indeed made a significant impact on the tax practitioner community in Karnataka. Its Stands at 2500 members spread over Karnataka, including 31 District Associations.
Overall, Sri Hombal and his team’s initiative in founding KSTPA has had a profound impact on the tax practitioner community in Karnataka. Through their dedication, vision, and leadership, they have created a platform for tax practitioners to enhance their skills, collaborate with peers, and advocate for their interests. It is with great honor and a deep sense of responsibility that I address you as the President of the Karnataka State Tax Practitioners Association [R].
As we continue our journey in the ever-evolving field of taxation, KSTPA remains committed to being a strong pillar of support, guidance, and unity for all tax professionals across the state. Our association, with its rich legacy and strong network of over 2,500 members across 31 districts, stands as a testament to the collective strength and dedication of Karnataka’s tax practitioners.
In the year ahead, we aim to deepen our engagement with members through regular workshops, study circles, and knowledge-sharing sessions—ensuring that our community remains equipped with the latest legislative updates and professional best practices. We are also actively working with authorities to represent the concerns of our fraternity and secure solutions that benefit our profession and clients alike.
I invite all members—senior and new—to participate actively, voice suggestions, and collaborate in our mission to elevate the standards of tax practice in Karnataka. Let us work together to uphold the ethics, integrity, and respect that define our profession.

At the KSTPA Hombal Bhavana Inauguration Ceremony held on 7th September 2025 in Hubballi, we were honored to have Hon’ble Shri H. V. Venkatesh as our Chief Guest.
🌸 In his address, he emphasized that Tax Practitioners play the highest role in tax collection by acting as a bridge between entrepreneurs and the Government. Their efforts ensure compliance, support businesses, and strengthen the financial backbone of the nation.
He also highlighted that Tax Practitioners bring transparency to the taxation system, build trust between the Government and citizens, and contribute significantly to India’s economic growth.
💐 In a generous gesture, he announced a donation of ₹2,00,000 towards the development of the Tax Library at KSTPA Hombal Bhavana, strengthening the association’s mission to promote knowledge and learning.

✨ KSTPA Hombal Bhavana – A Historic Milestone at Hubballi ✨
On 7th September 2025 (Sunday), the Karnataka State Tax Practitioners Association (KSTPA), along with Dharwad District Tax Practitioners Association (DDTPA), proudly inaugurated KSTPA Hombal Bhavana at Satellite Complex, Koppikar Road, Hubballi.
🌸 The inauguration was performed by Shri Man Maharaj Niranjana Jagadguru Dr. Gurusidda Rajayogeendra Mahaswamigalu, Shri Jagadguru Moorusavirmatt Mahasamsthana, Hubballi, who also blessed the gathering with his Aashirvachana.
🎖️ The program was graced by Chief Guests:
